Since I am not a hhuuugggeee football fan (even though I do like football), this will probably be the most boring thing you will ever read. Here goes!!!! The Cowboys are in the lead in the NFC, and other contenders are the Falcons, Seahawks, and Packers. The Patriots are in the lead in the AFC. The other division leaders are the Steelers, Chiefs, and Texans. I am not going to list all those other teams that didn’t make it, because that will get even more boring, if that’s possible. The Bears, like normal, didn’t make it. It’s hard to remember when they even won the SUPER BOWL!!!! I KNOW , THEY ACTUALLY WON A SUPER BOWL???? I will always remain a Bears’ fan, however. That’s a hint to my identity!! You may be wondering how I know all this stuff if I’m not a hhhuuugggeee football fan. It’s helpful to have a computer, isn’t it??? In case you didn’t want to read all that, you can just look at the chart. By: The Duchess of Deadly Hiccups in the Hall

Basketball is bouncing back! The teams’ first games happened yesterday. They played the Gethsemane Gladiators at St. John’s. (HUH?!?!) After an early dismissal (YEAH!), everyone headed over to the school. The JV girls played first, and let me tell you, that game was soooooooo loud that I thought my eardrums would explode!!!!!! Everyone was cheering them on!!! The girls won 22 – 8. Then came the JV boys, and they also won 23- 17. The varsity girls lost 27 – 10, and the varsity boys lost 32 – 17. The next games are on Friday, and they are HOME!!!! Be sure to come and cheer on Shepherd basketball!! (I play it, so you better come! Hahahahaha! )Also, a certain person would like me to mention that Bob IS NOT DED, nor will he die from an absurd sickness. And he WILL NOT BE CHOPPED DOWN FOR FIREWOOD OR GAS FOR MR. BRADLEY’S CAR!!!!!!! AND DO NOT USE HIM FOR YOUR ORGANIC MATTER SCIENCE PROJECT!!!!!! This person told me to put in those bolded underlined capital words. THE END!
By: The Duchess of the Deadly Hiccups in the Hall Basketball is beginning. Yes, we are a few weeks in but the games are coming up soon. Out with the old (volleyball, soccer) and in with the new (basketball). Basketball at Shepherd has four divisions - varsity girls, JV girls, varsity boys, and JV boys. Our first game is on December 6th. The girls’ first game is against Gethsemane at St. Johns. Yes, weird right. But that is what is happening. Anyway, you can’t win a game without practice so… Practice makes perfect, well actually you can never be perfect because only Jesus can but you know what I mean. Most of practice is running, working hard, and perfecting (or at least as good as we can get so, because we can never be perfect like Jesus) their plays. Basketball is hard work, but lots of fun. I should know; I am on the team (hint to who I am). You can never have too many players because you can always have an A and a B team. When we have a home game you should come and see us play. The more fans the better. Plus, you get to see little cheerleaders cheer on the sides of the court. Come and support Shepherd Basketball!
