Hello trapeze artists of Shepherd of the Hills! Well, we are almost there people. School will be over on May 26, 2016. Before school ends, we should probably talk about our track studs. One of the break-out stars this season has been Chris Worthing, who has broken three school records in his first year of attendance at Shepherd of the Hills. He has broken the seventh grade boys’ records for the one hundred, two hundred, and four hundred meter sprints. There have also been some other records broken. Meghan Otte broke the eighth grade girls’ record for the one hundred meter sprint. Meghan Otte, Abbie Saline, Bella DiLuzio, and Erin Kaelin broke the eighth grade girls’ record for the four by two hundred meter relay race. The whole track team got second place at the Denver Area Lutheran Schools track meet and they also brought back the Christian Sportsmanship Award.
Overall, Shepherd has done pretty well in sports. Lots of the teams have brought home trophies, most teams have brought home the Christian Sportsmanship Award, and all the teams have brought back smiles! As you may or may not know, the Electronic Snowman will no longer be writing articles. I have to return to the Christmas gift shop where my family is. I will miss you all. So we can both leave feeling good, I have decided to show all my fans a picture of me so they can know who’s face the articles belongs to. Have a fab-tastic summer!
