If you happened to walk into the gym on Monday, February 6th, you might have seen an odd sight. It’s not everyday that the Shepherd varsity girls’ team plays themselves! However, due to a sudden explosion of sickness on the opposing team, the Shepherd girls did just that. I think it’s safe to say that Shepherd won that game!
The varsity boys, however, did not beat Peace with Christ, though they did play very well. It doesn’t help when the opposing team is made up of a bunch of giants! Speaking of giants, the varsity girls played another team with a bunch of really tall people at their tournament last weekend! (I think that everyone here needs to grow an inch at the very least!) Though the girls lost both their games against Bethlehem and Gethsemane, they had a lot fun playing the last games of their season! (And eating a whole ton of cupcakes!) Another tournament is happening this weekend at Bethlehem. The varsity boys will play their last games of the season in this tournament, and hopefully blow off the competition!! Their first game is at 4:15 on Friday. Go and cheer on the team! I’ll see you there!! By: The Reading Random Roaring Radical Raging Raiding Radiant Zebra

Basketball! Slowly it’s winding down. There are tournaments, last games, and whatnot. The JV girls fought gallantly, but lost to Peace with Christ on Tuesday. The JV girls also played in a tournament which you’ve probably already heard about, but they got 2nd place! The JV boys’ tournament is the weekend of the next, February 4th and 5th. The Varsity girls’ tournament is in about two weeks on February 10th and 11th. The Varsity boys had a tournament, but I am not knowledgeable about these things, so I don’t know if they got a placing or not. They do have another tournament, and I assume it’s the weekend after the Varsity girls’ tournament. I’m not completely sure if that’s right. If you’d really like to know, it’d probably be wise to ask MR. Poppe or a Varsity boy. NOT the Fleaing Demon Lemur Llama. A few more things: JV boys won and so did the Varsity girls!! Sadly, the Varsity boys didn’t, but I heard that they played very well and it was a close game! Last thing: PWC is playing Varsity Shepherd teams again on February 6th(special day!), which is next Monday! Thank you for reading this completely making sense article I’ll be back in two weeks!!!
