The Fleaing Demon Lemur Llama is back! This time, I was able to catch up with Ms. Niesche in a hallway. I came up with many interesting questions (some from the back of a book I won’t name, but it’s a sequel to A Wrinkle in Time) and asked her all of them. If Ms. Niesche could live anywhere she wanted, she’d live in a cabin in the mountains that has a nice fireplace in it. If this was me, I’d say beware the yeti!! Although Ms. Niesche teaches both fourth and fifth grade, she’d much rather teach fifth. In response to my next question, if you could own any inanimate object in the world what would it be, she answered a Ford Raptor. I didn’t know what that was, so I had to go look it up. A Ford Raptor is a kind of pick-up truck. At least, that’s what popped up in the Google images. Teaching really is the job Ms. Niesche wants because she first wanted to be a teacher in kindergarten! I call that prepared for the future!! However, babysitting was her first job. We’ve all got to start somewhere. When asked if she was a night owl or morning person, Ms. Niesche said, “Definitely a night owl.” A few more favorite of Ms. Niesche:
Animal: Elephant Color: Orange Song: Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star Book: Ella Enchanted (It’s a good one!) Movie: The 5th element Dessert: cookie dough ice cream Fun fact about Ms. Niesche: When she was in middle school, she played soccer, basketball and volleyball! Learning about our teachers has been really fun this year. However, I am sad. This is my last article ever because I am graduating this year and heading off to high school. And now..for revealing my “secret identity”!!-Julia Schulteis By The Fleaing Demon Lemur Llama

This week for our teacher selection we will have something a little different. This week we have a pastor instead of a teacher. We are going to look into things about Pastor Zillinger that his own daughter didn’t know about him, so let’s go. We will start with the most interesting thing about him and that is the fact that his first choice of job wasn’t a pastor, it was an astrophysicist. An astrophysicist is a person who does science about things in space like comets and asteroids. Seeing that he grew up in Kansas you would think that his favorite color has something to do with something in Kansas and it is. His favorite color happens to be corn flower blue. Another thing that you might find interesting is he really likes Star Wars. Pastor Zillinger likes to collect things and one of those things is star wars toys and his favorite movie is Star Wars: A New Hope. He likes to do many things and he loves to do them with his family. He likes going on hikes, vacations, and watching movies with his family. Pastor Zillinger is a great person, he likes to do many things and he loves Jesus and the people around him.
By: And Smash It With A Hammer I was interviewing our very own…. Mrs. Zillinger. She is helping Mrs. Cannon out and substituting in her place. Bye: Kandy with a C (I know that I used the wrong by but whatever) What would you do if you had a million dollars? If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? What’s the funniest thing you’ve ever done? Mrs. Lawver, the first grade teacher, answered all these questions and more when I, the Reading Random Roaring Raging…. (Ah, forget it. You’ll read my name at the bottom!) when I, the 8 R’s Zebra, interviewed her.
Mrs. Lawver has been teaching for five years, and she has wanted to be a teacher since she was a kid. If she had one million dollars, she would give some of the money to orphanages or other charities. She would spend the rest of the money on travel. She’d most likely travel to France, since that is where she would go if she could visit anyplace in the world. If Mrs. Lawver could meet anyone in the world, alive or dead, she would meet Amelia Earhart. The Favorites: Color – turquoise Book – Little Women Movie – Goodwill Hunting Song – God Gave Me You Food – the classic nachos! The funniest thing Mrs. Lawver’s ever done as a kid – Mrs. Lawver’s dad was a mechanic, and when he was working in the garage, he would sometimes fill a kiddie swimming pool with oil. One day, Mrs. Lawver’s unsuspecting brother was standing next to the pool when Splash! – she pushed him into it!! Hmm, I know a few siblings I could do that to if I could only find a pool of oil….. On that note, hopefully you’ve learned everything you’ve wanted to know about the Lovely Mrs. Lawver! Thanks for reading! By: The Reading Random Roaring Raging Raiding Radical Radiant Rambunctious Zebra In the basement, in Mr. McPeak’s old room dwells a teacher by the name of Poppe. Mr. Poppe teaches Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Religion, 6th grade math, and 5-8th grade Physical Education. He does like being a teacher because he likes watching kids learn. If he wasn’t a teacher, right now he’d be weaving baskets underwater. I don’t even know how that’s possible! In response to the question, do you have any pets? Mr. Poppe replied, yes. A little child known as Zadoc (I’m not sure if I spelled that right I hope so). Then he said no, so I’m assuming he was just kidding about the first part? Mr. Poppe has a few favorite things that are intriguing. His favorite Bible story is Ehud, and his favorite book is the Bible. That’s not too surprising because he is the religion teacher. Favorite United State of America? Wisconsin. I’m guessing the reason for this is Wisconsin is his home state. His favorite forms of communication are face to face meetings and a close second: email. Mr. Poppe’s favorite holiday is Easter, and it’s coming up pretty soon!! Fall is his favorite season of the year. There’s only four to choose from! A few more favorites of Mr. Poppe are
Movie: Despicable Me Color: green Animal: eagle Song: As All the Heavens were Abow (we think, song titles aren’t easy to remember sometimes!) Object: his great grandfather’s pocket watch Subject: Religion Food: Steak Writing articles is fun! ‘See’ you in two weeks! Wait. Never mind! “See” you after break! By: The Fleaing Demon Lemur Llama!!! We all love our Mrs. Jennings. She is our wonderful principal and we are lucky to have her. She has many favorite things and some may surprise you. Like Christmas is her favorite holiday, but we all could have guessed that. I mean who doesn’t like Christmas. Even though Christmas is in winter her favorite season happens to be fall and guess what, her favorite color is pink! Like I said earlier we are lucky to have her because if she had a choice she would be relaxing in Hawaii right know. The reason for her being in Colorado is she loves the weather here. Also she loves to watch movies, like her favorite movie “Hope Floats”. Speaking of watching things she also likes to watch hockey. Her favorite thing about being a principal is the kids. She loves kids and she loves to be with them. Speaking of kids she has some of her own. She has three daughters and four step kids. Also she has two dogs. Ever since she was a kid she has wanted to be a teacher, but if she wasn’t the principal right know she would be a consular. Shepherd of the Hills loves Mrs. Jennings and she is a fantastic principal.

By: Um of Umbridge Welcome, fluent Spanish speakers! If you like Spanish, you’ll definitely like Senora Livingston, our Spanish teacher here at Shepherd. Here are some facts about her:
Senora Livingston was born in South Carolina. But that’s not the only place she has lived by a long shot- she has moved many times throughout her life and has lived in California, Brazil, and Uruguay, along with loads of other places. Her favorite place to visit was Brazil. Pity she wasn’t there during the Olympics! Senora Livingston also has a brother and two sisters. She likes hot days best (don’t we all?). My old counterpart, The Person Who Died Of Boredom At The D.M.V., would be pleased to know that her favorite month is October. Hurray for skeletons![Symbol] Hurray also for Saturday and Sunday, her favorite days of the week (and mine and T.P.W.D.O.B.A.T.D.M.V.’s and… well, you get the picture). Senora Livingston has also posed as an interpreter several times. How cool is that? Those are just some of the many cool things to know about Senora Livingston. We Shepherdians are very happy to have such an amazing Espanòl teacher! By A. Nonny Mous P.S. The Person Who Died Of Boredom At The D.M.V. wanted me to tell you that while at the Ghostly Meeting last week a Civil War soldier “accidentally” (or so he claimed) ate real pizza as opposed to the generic ghostly pizza from King Super’s (of the old-fashioned type). This sight was so traumatic that she is now relearning the difference between ghostly food and ghastly food (that’s Ghostese for human pizza). Mr. Bradley, your average Tobin Heath fan-boy. His hobbies include soccer, running, rescuing globes from injustices, and Tobin Heath. If he wasn’t a teacher he would be a pro soccer or hockey player and was interested in video game design/programming. His favorite color is Polka Dot (Blue), favorite food is breakfast burritos, book is Paradise Lost, movie is anything with Denzel Washington (or Tobin Heath), season is fall, and he likes how active Coloradoans are. He has lived in Colorado all his life. If he didn’t live in Colorado he would like to be a hermit in Maine. Like Tobin Heath, Mr. Bradley is left handed. He likes to eat sandwiches with both hands. He would be interested in founding/leading a Tobin Heath fan club in his later life. He has been teaching at Shepherd for three years and enjoys teaching history the most out of all of the many, many, many, spectacular subjects he projects onto the mind of the impressionable youth of our delightfully weird and crazy middle school friends. His favorite book of the Bible is Romans! Also, did you know emojis count as words?
Fun Fact: His classroom is a globe sanctuary. By: Pascal Did you ever want to know more about the Newsworthy Ms. Niesche?? What’s her favorite food? Did she ever get in trouble at school?? To answer all these questions and more, read on and learn all about the orange loving teacher!!!!
Her favorite color is.... yes, you guessed it... ORANGE!!!! Her favorite food is the classic American hamburger. YUM!!!! The Toy Story series is her favorite set of movies. She llooovves to read (who doesn’t?) Being a teacher has been her dream job since she was a kid. Her favorite subject? Math. History is her least favorite subject. She didn’t really get in trouble much at school. ( It would have been really interesting if she had!) If she could go anywhere in the world, she would go to Germany. The coolest thing she’s ever done with her friends was at her fourth grade birthday party. She and her friends all stuffed blankets and pillows under their pajamas and pretended to be sumo wrestlers!!!! I hope you learned everything you wanted to know about the fourth and fifth grade teacher!!! Who should we interview next?
