What would you do if you had a million dollars? If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? What’s the funniest thing you’ve ever done? Mrs. Lawver, the first grade teacher, answered all these questions and more when I, the Reading Random Roaring Raging…. (Ah, forget it. You’ll read my name at the bottom!) when I, the 8 R’s Zebra, interviewed her.
Mrs. Lawver has been teaching for five years, and she has wanted to be a teacher since she was a kid. If she had one million dollars, she would give some of the money to orphanages or other charities. She would spend the rest of the money on travel. She’d most likely travel to France, since that is where she would go if she could visit anyplace in the world. If Mrs. Lawver could meet anyone in the world, alive or dead, she would meet Amelia Earhart. The Favorites: Color – turquoise Book – Little Women Movie – Goodwill Hunting Song – God Gave Me You Food – the classic nachos! The funniest thing Mrs. Lawver’s ever done as a kid – Mrs. Lawver’s dad was a mechanic, and when he was working in the garage, he would sometimes fill a kiddie swimming pool with oil. One day, Mrs. Lawver’s unsuspecting brother was standing next to the pool when Splash! – she pushed him into it!! Hmm, I know a few siblings I could do that to if I could only find a pool of oil….. On that note, hopefully you’ve learned everything you’ve wanted to know about the Lovely Mrs. Lawver! Thanks for reading!
