The president of middle school (Ellie) and her cabinet (Kyra, Reilly, and Noah) have been announced, but what happens now? One thing that is happening now is petitions. So far, two petitions have been submitted. As of today, only one has been made official. Before the election, students in fourth through eighth grade weren’t allowed in the fish bowl. Before I explain more about the petition, let me tell you what the fish bowl is. The fish bowl is an indent in the ground between the swings and the playground. This indent is shaped like a square, so it is called a bowl. The fish part came around because Shepherd of the Hills is a school. Ha-ha! If you don’t get that, it was a joke because fish travel in schools and SOTH is a school. Get it? Ha-ha! I like to make fish jokes because I am part fish myself. Now, about that petition. The petition was made by the president, and the president suggested in that petition that older students may use the fishbowl when the younger students aren’t there. The petition for fishbowl use passed through the teachers quickly and very soon after, an announcement was made at the end of lunchtime. Mr. Bradley announced that the petition was successful! Fourth through eighth graders are now allowed to be in the fishbowl when younger students aren’t’ around. Students are very happy that their president has made changes to boundaries. Another petition that has been made but not passed yet is that the process to get a petition passed could be shorter. Anyway, this is the Electric Neon Glowing Cinnamon Fish Stick signing off!

Bob the Tree is surrounded in a shroud of romance!! Jaina and Bekah from seventh grade are in a quickly heating competition to gain the tree’s affections. Though Jaina says that she is doing it just to make Bekah jealous.Who will be the victor? Or is there another competitor in the mix? Bob has seemed to be sad lately, and there are suspicions that he is still pining for Jenna, who is an alumni and Bob’s ex – girlfriend. Does Jenna return Bob’s affections? Or will Bob choose another of the two competitors? That remains to be seen!!!!
However, right now Bob has a bigger problem on his hands…. I mean…. branch arms. Josh, John, and a few other creatures have been expressing the desire to harm Bob, whether that means kicking him or slapping him. And Bob, being a tree, has had to rely on his faithful protectors, (who fight each other in the process), namely Jaina and Bekah. Another threat is Mr. Bradley, who has decided that Bob would be the perfect tree to chop down and use as gas for his car!! So poor Bob has his branch arms full, and several admirers to boot! Maybe Bob will relax with Thanksgiving break coming up!!! This is The Duchess of Deadly Hiccups in the Hall signing off! There is a Middle School president! We voted on Monday at lunch. We were all very unsure and didn’t know who was going to win. We waited and waited and waited and waited until the day. Even though it was only Tuesday it felt like forever. Right before lunch Mr. Bradley gathered up the candidates. It was time to figure out who was the middle school president. There was a pause and then he said it Ellie was the middle school president. Everyone cheered and hugged Ellie. Then we figured out that Kyra was the vice president. More cheering. Then we finally went to lunch. It was a very exciting day. Most people were happy and excited that Ellie was the president.
