Today I am going to be interviewing some of the middle schoolers that are doing it. The first one is Avery B. She is doing the sculpture category as her project. Avery made the Imagination Tower and thought it was really fun to be able to make something out of clay and put it in a contest. The second one is Jaina Z. Jaina is doing jewelry and thinks it is really hard because she is making it out of wire. She also thinks it is just a lot of work. Cayleigh L. Due to miss behavior during classes our principal Mrs. Jennings has thought of a way to
track our behavior. This system has proven to be more effective than hoped for and now we are
receiving these trackers every week. This is how it works, once we get our trackers for the week
we go on to our classes, but if we forget our stuff for class or miss behave the teachers give us a
signature on our paper. If we get three or less signatures we get to participate in a fun activity on
every Wednesday! However if we get four or more signatures we do not get to do the fun
activity. Some of the activities include playing on IPads, watching a movie, or having an extra
recess! Thanks to these trackers most of the middle school has
changed their behavior for the better (more or less)! However others haven’t really
changed their actions and those kids get their trackers signed a few times each week. We’ve only
had one person to get more than four signatures so far and they have missed out of a free time. Ever since theses trackers came around, our classes have been behaving very well.
